Trip to San Sebastian and Bilbao... wooo
Been away from this blog a long time. We had a tough time at the family, loosing my two beloved great-grandparents. I asked Dad to put up snaps of Great-papa and great-granma on this blog so he is working on it. A special edition. Anyway, that will be a special tribute.
But for now, enjoy these picks of lovely San Sebastian and unexpectedly beautiful Bilbao!

The beautiful beaches of San Sebastian....
... and nothing better than some alone time with Mama!
Got a chance on a cycle... my first time!
The harbour where kids can develop their skills behind the wheel of their boats!
With Dada and Mama!!!
With all of Dada's friends
This is the riverfront of Bilbao at night. Reminds Dada of the AUH Corniche!
The Church of Santiago in Bilbao where we went for Sunday Mass!
... It had a slope upward towards the Altar - never seen before. And Jesus looks especially pained in this Church Cross - Dada says
One of the outside exhibits, such a cute puppy
After Sunday Mass, we headed to the Gugenheim Meuseum!
... where Papa relaxed and I took advantage!
This particular exhibit I did not exactly like :(
This is the Funicular, a sort of Train to take up passengers to higher parts of the city of Bilbao.
You can see the steep gradients, and in fact the train itself is stepped and not on the same level
At the top, this immense gear! Amazing, don't know why Dad had a special interest in it....
And finally, one of the final destinations in Bilbao before we drive back home to Madrid was a visit to the home stadium of Athletico Bilbao!!!
Until next time............
